Does anyone know where to get good information of handling Bipolar type II? I have found that most information on biploar focuses on type I with only mentions of type II. Though I understand one is a 'lesser' severity of the other, it can be frustrating and anxiety increasing to dig through much of what is out there, especially when I have to realize I have hieghtened anxiety, possibly SADs, issues with food, and great stress levels thrown into the mix. I am on my own, without conventional medication, and not sure where to really get accurate information to suppliment what a former naturopath adviced. I am well educated in mental health being a former psych student, but even I am at a loss right now.

Hello Laz.trinity. I suggest that you go to the website 'Orthomed.org' and do a search in the archived Journals of Orthomolecular medicine. Orthomolecular practitioners specialize in the treatment of Bipolar disorders. You could also visit Dr. Abram Hoffer's website, which offers guidance on nutritional treatment. Let us know what you find and how you fair. CC
