Regular opportunities volunteering with Orthomolecular Health and our parent organization the ISF include:
Office help. Tasks range from assistance for quarterly mailings to database entry.
Program assistance. The volunteers’ general tasks have included but are not limited to: set-up, teardown, selling of literature, answering questions, and handing out print matter at our programs.
Public education assistance. Staff and volunteers work together at the foundation’s information booths to: hand out material, answer questions, explain the Orthomolecular approach to health, share personal stories of recovery and promote literature & membership sales.
Communication/Social media contributions. Our goal is to become a well used resource for nutrition and health information on the web and across Canada. Volunteers with an interest in writing are able to share their own experiences with OM and their recovery stories. Our member-focused quarterly print newsletter, Nutrition & Mental Health, publishes written contributions from its members and the public in general.
