Multiple Food Chemical Sensitivity

I would appreciate hearing from someone who is 'qualified' and understands how difficult it is to eat healthy (according to OM standards) when many of the good vegetables and fruits cause severe reactions.  Fruits and vegetables (certain ones) trigger severe joint pain, skin reactions, walking ability becomes limited, brain function is slowed down.... lupus like symptoms are appearing (I carry a diagnosis of Lupus/vasculitis  (mixed connective tissue disorder) which is mostly gone when I avoid salicylates in foods.

Walking 8 km per week to slow Alzheimer's

Walking — and other exercise — can benefit the brain. Walking improves blood flow to the brain, it protects blood vessels, it reduces the risk of things that could be bad for the brain, like hypertension, obesity and stroke — so at the end of the day, pretty much any form of aerobic physical activity would probably have similar effects. It's cheap and it's much better than picking drugs that have side-effects, and it probably has many good effects, whether it's related to your brain health or not.

The new recommendation calls for everyone age one to 70 to take 600 IU of vitamin D a day, while those 71 and older should take 800 IU. At these intakes, 97.5 per cent of the population would have their needs for the nutrient met. The current guideline from Health Canada ranges from 200 IU to 600 IU, depending on age, although breastfed babies need 400 IU daily, a level the panel continues to endorse.
